WCHS is a great place, and those of us on the faculty as well as our student leaders work hard at making it a better place. We are all growing, and we would love to have you grow with us. We love God, we love his Word, we are grateful for the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for us, we are thankful he is risen, and that he has put his spirit in us. We are comforted by the fact that he will one day return and set to right those many things that break the human heart and crush the human spirit.
Being the principal of WCHS is a great job. I love our students – they are the best! I love our teachers. They are agents of life-change. They will challenge you, push you, inspire you and love you. They make us what we are here at WCHS! Our students, staff and administration encounter issues and problems on a daily basis. In fact, many of those issues are the same as those in the public schools. What makes us different is that we always do our best to solve our problems in harmony with the truths of the Bible and through the leading of the Holy Spirit. WCHS is not a place that will shield you from problems, but it is a place where you will learn to deal with problems in a way that leaves everyone better than they were before.
One of the great things about WCHS is that parents and students agree that Jesus is our savior and that the Bible conveys things that are true for all people at all times. That doesn’t mean we are all alike, in fact we are growing more diverse each day; but it does mean that we all agree that Jesus is King and that we are all at our best when we are walking with him by faith.
At WCHS we are serious but we like to have fun. We study hard and we play hard. We pray and we laugh. I’m the father of 5 kids, all of whom are now grown and all of whom attended WCHS. Best of all, I haven’t forgotten what is like to be 15 or 16! When I’m not at school, my wife, our dog “Oscar the Boxer,” and I enjoy getting away to enjoy each other and the outdoors. Sometimes we just like to drive around and go no place in particular. I’m convinced that we love life just a little more than the average person because we love the one who gave us life.
Consider joining me and all the other Warriors at WCHS as we grow together in our love of God and the life he gives us.
Proud to be a Warrior,
Dr. Buzz Inboden
