The Special Education Program is provided with State Funds Auxiliary Services (NPSS) through Worthington City Schools. The program started in 1978 with a part-time tutor. The program now has a combination full-time resource room teacher/tutor. The 1998-1999 school year serviced 24 students. These students serviced in the Special Education Program are either Learning Disabled or Other Health Impaired.
Starting the 1999-2000 school year, the program moved into a four room modular building. This building houses a tutoring/computer room, a teaching/resource room, a part-time school psychologist and two state funded clerks. One works with the Special Education Program. The other works with the state fund moneys that the private school uses to purchase items under the guidelines.
