Fact Sheet

Worthington Christian High School is a four-year high school with an enrollment of 337 students. The school is fully chartered by the State of Ohio, accredited by the North Central Association and ACSI.

Twenty-one credits are required to graduate from Worthington Christian. The required credits are:

Weighted Grades: Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry, Honors Anatomy and Physiology, Physics, Precalculus, Honors Precalculus, AP Calculus, American Culture, AP Studio Art, Honors English 10, AP English 11 and AP English 12, AP Spanish V. The Honors/Advanced Placement grade is 1.1, 1.2, or 1.3 times the grade earned depending on the grade level of the class. Class rank is based upon final grades earned in all graded subjects. We do not rank anyone below the top twenty percent of the class.

The average ACT score for the 2007-08 school year was 23.3. The average SAT scores were 531 for reading and 527 for the math, on the new SAT writing portion WCHS students averaged 514.

Approximately 90-95% of the students attending Worthington Christian choose to continue their education in a four-year institution after graduation. For the class of 2008, forty-nine percent of the students earned at or above a 3.5 g.p.a. through the senior year.

During the 2007-08 academic year - 62 % of Advanced Placement test takers passed with a "3" or better and earned college credit.
