Fact SheetWorthington Christian High School is a four-year high school with an enrollment of 358 students. The school is fully chartered by the State of Ohio.
Twenty-one credits are required to graduate from Worthington Christian. The required credits are:
The grading scale is as follows:
Weighted grades: Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry, Honors Anatomy and Physiology, Honors Precalculus, Calculus, and Honors English 10, 11, and 12. The weighted grade is 1.125 times the grades above. Class rank is based upon final grades earned in all graded subjects. We will introduce AP Calculus, AP Studio Art and AP 11th English in the 2006-2007 school year. The average ACT score for the 2004-2005 school year was 24.4. The average verbal score on the SAT was 588 and the average math score was 575, and in the new SAT writing portion WCHS students scored 690. About 90-95% of the students attending Worthington Christian choose to continue their education in a four-year institution after graduating. In the class of 2005, forty-seven percent of the students have earned above a 3.5 through the senior year. During the academic year 2004-2005 - 52% of Advance Placement test takers passed with a "3" pr better and earned college credit. |
