Middle School Curriculum
The administration of Worthington Christian Schools developed curriculum committees to establish the K-12 curriculum. Their purpose is to construct a curriculum that meets state standards without compromising the school's philosophy. The graded course of study from grades K through 12 is used to help meet this goal.
Programs are available for students with special needs. These include small group instruction or tutoring for students with diagnosed learning disabilities and other learning difficulties. There is not a gifted program, as such, but the curriculum is challenging, giving students an opportunity to excel in the academic areas.
The middle school library media center strives to provide intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats necessary for the fulfillment of the curriculum and for the independent study or recreational reading of the students.
