Worthington Christian Schools offers the opportunity for parents to partner with a school that has an explicitly Christian approach to their child’s education. We implement a rigorous K–12 academic program which ranges from enrichment and intervention programs at the elementary level to Advanced Placement classes and internship opportunities at the high school level.

At the elementary and middle school level, test scores continue to be higher than both national and state averages as well as higher than what our students’ aggregate raw abilities would predict.  The Columbus Dispatch reported that WCS outscored all area public schools, all other Christian schools and all but one Catholic school in Ohio Graduation Test Results.

For the 2011–12 school year, WCS had one National Merit Scholarship finalist and two National Merit Commended Scholars. WCS has had many other students recognized by the National Merit Scholarship program in past years. Out of 1.5 million students taking the test, a Commended Scholar is in the top 50,000. A finalist qualifies among the top 15,000.

Our high school math team has won regionals four out of the past five years, placing third in the state in Division III. A combined middle school/high school team placed first in Midwest regional competition in Algebra. Our middle school team has advanced to a Silver Level school rating at Columbus State competitions.

We are fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) in grades K–12 and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement in grades 9–12. By investing in such accreditation processes, WCS ensures that our school is always changing for the better, bringing a vigorous dynamic into the school by engaging every staff member in the process of organizational appraisal.
