Class Reunions (On Your Own)

9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.  |  A Walk Down Memory Lane  |  High School (6670 Worthington Galena Road)

Drop-in and enjoy a continental breakfast at your old high school before it becomes WC’s new Lower School in the summer of 2020. Walk the halls, peruse yearbooks, view 43 years of graduating class photos that line the hallways while catching up with alumni, alumni parents, past and present faculty and staff.

4:45 p.m.  |  Youth Home Run Derby & Alumni Baseball Game  |  Penn Field (1485 Lazelle Road)

Take me out to the ball game! Come enjoy America’s favorite pastime. We’ll start with a Home Run Derby for kids in grades four to eight followed by the traditional Alumni Baseball Game. Pre-registration is required for the Youth Home Run Derby.

5:30 p.m.  |  Family Tennis  |  Reither Courts (1485 Lazelle Road)

Whether you are a competitive player or new to the game, join us for fun on the Reither Courts. Singles, doubles, skills, and drills will be offered for the entire family.

6 p.m.  |  Kids Space | Grace Light Pavilion (1485 Lazelle Road)

Bring the kids (and grandkids) to Alumni Weekend. This year’s Kids Space will include an area for younger children and older children. Parents are responsible for supervising their children. Kids Space will remain open until 9 p.m.

We’re reserving a grassy area for classes, teams, clubs, and friends to meet up. Bring your tent and lawn chair, and enjoy all the festivities of Alumni Weekend.

6:30 p.m.  |  Alumni Cookout & Mixer  | Grace Light Pavilion (1485 Lazelle Road)

Alumni, alumni parents, and current and former faculty and staff are invited to reminisce, reconnect, and renew friendships while enjoying a complimentary cookout. Tours of the new Upper School construction site will be conducted between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

7 p.m.  |  Alumni Soccer Game & 2009 State Championship Team Recognition  |  Founders Field (1485 Lazelle Road)

This year’s Alumni Game featuring alumni versus the current varsity squad will be extra special as we honor the 2009 state championship team. The celebration will continue after the game as alumni, alumni parents, and current player and parents enjoy a complimentary cookout.

8:30 p.m.  |  Family Flag Football  |  Founders Field (1485 Lazelle Road)

New this year is Flag Football for the entire family. The five-on-five format includes a quarterback and four receivers playing on a short field. Teams may consist of men, women, co-ed, and kids.

Take Note

  • Bring the family to Alumni Weekend. There is no cost to attend. Alumni, alumni parents, current and former faculty and staff, as well as their immediate family members, will receive a meal ticket for the cookout. Paid concessions will also be available. Please bring lawn chairs.
  • Be prepared for lots of construction near WC’s athletic facilities. In addition to the Upper School construction, Grace Polaris Church is in the midst of renovations, and Lazelle Road is under construction. Only eastbound traffic is permitted. Please plan accordingly.
  • There is no rain date. In case of inclement weather, check the website and the alumni social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) for weather updates.
  • The WC campus is an alcohol, drug, pet, and weapon-free zone.
Class Reunions

It’s time to begin planning your reunion if you’re a member of the following classes:  1979 (40 Year); 1984  (35 Year); 1989 (30 Year); 1994 (25 Year), 1999 (20 Year), 2004 (15 Year), 2009 (10 Year), and 2014 (Five Year).
