Share the Ware Sale Benefits School Families and Families in Southeast Africa

The annual event is partnering with Finish Line Ministries to outfit those in need.

It’s time to purchase school uniforms and spirit wear for out-of-uniform occasions, and there is no better place to get a head start on shopping than the annual Share the Ware Sale set for Thursday, August 3. Share the Ware is a program initiated by school parent Heather Thomas for families to donate their freshly laundered, gently used, and no longer needed school uniforms and Warrior wear year-round. Each August, items collected are sorted, organized, and sold at a fraction of the cost of new uniforms, and all proceeds are used to benefit the WC community. This year’s sale will be held in The Hogue Auxiliary Gym on the Upper School Campus from 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted.

Finish Line Ministries Operation Kindness Clothing Drive

A new dimension to this year’s Share the Ware Sale is a clothing drive to benefit families living in the remote villages of Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe. Your donation of adult and children’s clothes is part of Finish Line’s Operation Kindness Clothing Drive.

Bring bagged and gently used adult and children’s clothing at the Share the Ware Sale. Volunteers will be onsite to collect your donations and provide a tax-deductible receipt. The WC community goal is to fill 100 boxes to send to the people of Southeast Africa. Learn more about Finish Line Ministries and the Operation Kindness Clothing Drive.
