Let the fun begin!

After a super early roll call and an adventurous day in airports, we are happy to report that all 4 teams and chaperones (spread throughout 8 flights), made it safely to the Score Compound in the Dominican Republic. The chaperones commented many times on the positive attitudes of the students as well as God’s sweet provision with short custom lines and the delivery of every one of our suitcases. After settling in quickly, we had a brief orientation by SCORE, and then Mr. Roads kicked off our first night in the Upper Room, setting the tone for the trip and encouraging kids to take next steps, be present and respond to the opportunities presented by the Lord!

Our first ministry day starts tomorrow, and the students are excited! They’ve been invited to join a group for a sunrise walk to the beach at 6:30 before loading up the buses and heading to various ministry locations. We can’t wait to see how the Lord is going to work in and through the students this week.
