October 18 Grandparents Day at the Lower School

Register by Monday October14!

Grandparents Day celebrates the invaluable contributions of grandparents to our lives and education. It’s a special opportunity for students in our Lower School to connect with their grandparents or other special friend, giving them a glimpse into their daily school life and creating cherished memories together.

Students will have an opportunity to show their guest(s) around their school, enjoy Panera refreshments, and do some fun activities!

Parents must register their child’s guest(s) by Monday, October 14!

PARKING

As you know, parking at our Lower School is limited. It would be a tremendous help if your guests could carpool or if you could drop off/pick up your guest(s).

TIMING AND DISMISSAL

• 3-6 will take place from 9:15 – 10:15 AM
• K-2 will take place from 10:45 – 11:45 AM
• October 18 is an early dismissal day (1 PM).
• Afternoon Kindergarteners are welcome to participate during the scheduled K-2 event. There is no afternoon Kindergarten on this day.
• Parents can provide permission for their students to leave school with their guests after the event.
• Students who stay at school after the event will need to pack a lunch as there are no food services on this day due to early release.

FOOD ALLERGIES

Panera refreshments will be served as part of the event. If anyone in your party or your student has an allergy, please feel free to bring an allergy-friendly snack.

PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT

We will have a fun scavenger hunt activity. Please plan to upload a photo of your student(s) and their guest(s) as part of registration.
