Parent-Teacher Fellowship
Build relationships through involvement.
WC welcomes and encourages volunteer involvement. In fact, without volunteers tuition would soar and several programs would suffer. Opportunities to serve are plentiful. From classroom helpers to event chairs, there is a place for you.
Wondering how to get started?
Talking with a Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) representative is an excellent way to determine how best to match your gifts and availability to school needs and opportunities. Complete the Volunteer Interest form, and a rep will follow up with you. Once you’re ready to dive in, a volunteer background check agreement must be completed, submitted, and reviewed.
The Parent-Teacher Fellowship exists to engage the WC community by facilitating fellowship, encouraging faculty and staff, and serving one another. The PTF is not a fundraising group. The PTF conducts two activities annually from which all proceeds are used to accomplish the organization’s purpose.
Fellowship Dinners
Throughout the school year, the PTF partners with a local restaurant to host fellowship dinners. The PTF receives a percent of the proceeds from all sales to WC families throughout the day. PTF Fellowship Dinners are announced via ThisWeekWC and in All-School News on the website and app.
Share the Ware
A favorite service of the PTF is Share the Ware. It’s an opportunity for families to donate outgrown or no longer needed clean, gently used school uniforms, Warrior ware, and gear. These items are then sold at a Share the Ware sale to other families at less than retail prices. Watch ThisWeekWC and All-School News on the website and app for collection and sale dates.
