STAFF SPOTLIGHT: RAECHEL MORROW
Raechel Morrow is no stranger to WC. She is a 2015 graduate who has returned to serve the students in a community she loves.
What is your role at WC, and how long have you worked here?
This is my first year at WC, but I have subbed at the school in the past. I’ve worn many hats this year for both the Upper and Lower Schools. I teach 6th-grade technology and Math 7 for our accelerated math students at the Lower School, and I work as an aide in our Upper School Intervention program for students grades 7-12.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding aspect of my role is seeing education happening across all buildings and subject areas. It puts into context the holistic nature of education when sometimes it is easy to get isolated in one content area and grade band.
What is something interesting your students may not know about you?
My students might not know that I am a certified Passport Acceptance Agent with the U.S. State Department, which means that I execute passport applications for first-time passport seekers.
