STAFF SPOTLIGHT: ROSIE CAHILL
Rosie Cahill loves serving our students and her peers. She looks forward to seeing WC students, getting to know them, and lending a helping hand to her food service team when needed.
What is your role at WC, and how long have you worked here?
This is my second year at Worthington Christian, working at the Lower School-Grades 3-6 building. I also get the opportunity to fill in wherever there is a need.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I would have to say building relationships with the children is the most rewarding part of my role. I love talking with the kids as they get their lunch.
What is your favorite Bible verse, and why?
I have several favorites, but I picked Matthew 6:31-34 – “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
We can all relate to worrying. We have all worried about something in our lives, but if we remember to seek him first he will give us what we need.
