SUMMER SPORTS PERFORMANCE TRAINING | NOW REGISTERING
Description: WC Varsity Head Football Coach Jeff Hartings and his team are offering an opportunity for students entering grades 5-8 to participate in a summer program that will help develop the basic foundation for all sports, such as speed, agility, quickness, change of direction, mobility, and strength training. Training will include basic running mechanic drills, cone and ladder drills for quickness, and age-appropriate bodyweight, dumbbell, and barbell strength training. Every session will conclude with fun games like speedball, kickball, wiffleball, and basketball.
Grades: Incoming 5-8 grades
Dates: Monday and Thursday mornings, June 12 -July 27 (NO TRAINING on July 3 & July 6)
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Location: Worthington Christian Upper School weight room and Thomas Field.
Cost: $125 for 12 sessions. Financial assistance is available by contacting Coach Hartings.
