Celebrating servant leaders
Established in 2009, the Alumnus of the Year award provides the Worthington Christian community—past and present—a meaningful way to recognize graduates who exemplify the school’s mission in their lives.
Nominations are accepted year-round from the WC community at large.
Each year, a diverse selection committee representing various parts of the school chooses the recipient based on the following criteria:
- Graduate of Worthington Christian School
- Applies the mind of Christ in their calling—whether in the marketplace, ministry, or military
- Embodies grace and truth as a servant leader
- Is a positive representative of Worthington Christian
The recipient is announced each May as part of the school’s commencement celebrations.
