FOR THE LOVE OF OUR TEACHERS & STAFF | DOUG TANNER

Nominated by his peers, fifth-grade teacher Doug Tanner is WC’s 2020 Teacher of the Year. In this brief video, Tanner shares a bit about his journey from working in the corporate banking world to teaching in an elementary classroom. He describes the love he has for his co-workers and the encouraging, supportive atmosphere they maintain. In his own words, Tanner also describes his reason for teaching at WC: “…the opportunity to build into the lives of young people…” Hear more of his insight in this brief video.
