Grades 1-6

Our Lower School students learn in a nurturing community where they are taught a 10-part curriculum that evolves as they grow. Here we will get our hands dirty, utilize the latest technology, and encourage independent thinking and doing. It’s our framework for laying a strong spiritual foundation and building intellectual muscle.

If it sounds straightforward and elementary, it is.

We’re all about learning on purpose – and with purpose.

Academics

2016 the Lower School earned the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence
15% of students take advantage of Intervention Services
100% of students spend weekly time in the library

The basics, the Bible, and a whole lot more.

Young learners will grasp how to spell, read, and write well while also challenging the other side of their brain with the sciences, computers, and math. Through it all, we infuse biblical understanding into these basic building blocks of knowledge to provide a Christ-centered perspective on all subjects and pursuits.

Arts

Tapping into those artistic instincts.

The art of making is at the core of Christian faith, as Jesus was a builder and a maker. We embrace hands-on making through the visual arts and making music through instruments and vocals as an important part of youthful self-expression and glorifying our heavenly Father, the original maker, and artist.
