As the world prepared for the start of a new millennium in 1999, Worthington Christian School experienced many changes of its own. The school celebrated its 25th anniversary during that time and key changes took place. The official school name changed from Grace Brethren Christian Schools to Worthington Christian Schools. The doublewide resource modular unit (affectionately dubbed “the mods”) was added to the existing school facilities.

Among the most noticeable changes for students that year, though, was the introduction of “campus wear.” Students in all grades K-12 began attending classes in school-approved uniforms.

The theme for the entire school that year was “Maturing in Christ,” largely based on Philippians 1:6, “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
