More Ways to Give

Every donor’s circumstances are different. Explore these additional ways to support Worthington Christian and choose an approach that aligns with your goals.

Donor-Advised Funds

Recommend a grant from your donor-advised fund (DAF) to Worthington Christian School. This convenient option allows you to support WC through funds you’ve already set aside for charitable giving.

To give: Contact your DAF sponsoring organization and recommend a grant to Worthington Christian. If possible, include your name and the fund you wish to support.

Appreciated Securities

Gifts of publicly traded stock, bonds, or mutual funds may offer tax advantages while providing meaningful support for WC.

To give: Contact our Development team for current transfer instructions. Please also notify us when your transfer is initiated so we can identify and acknowledge your gift.

Mailed Checks

Prefer giving by check? You can mail your contribution directly to Worthington Christian. Please include any specific fund designation with your gift.

Planned Giving

Include Worthington Christian in your estate plans through a bequest or beneficiary designation. A planned gift can create a lasting legacy for future generations of WC students.

To explore: Speak with your estate or financial advisor and connect with Kristi Veit, Director of Development, to discuss your intentions.

In-Kind Gifts

Gifts of goods and certain professional services can help WC offset expenses. Examples include printing, signage, photography, and event support.

To give: Please contact the Development team before making arrangements so we can determine whether your proposed contribution meets a school need.

Workplace & Community

Your everyday activities may create additional opportunities to support WC through employer matching gifts, United Way designations, or community rewards programs.

To participate: Check with your employer, United Way campaign, or participating retailers such as Kroger for available charitable giving options.

Tax treatment varies by giving method and individual circumstances. Please consult your financial or tax advisor regarding potential charitable giving benefits.

An Additional Way to Support Students

Extend Your Impact Through SGO

In addition to traditional charitable giving, Ohio’s Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) program provides another way to support Worthington Christian students. Eligible taxpayers can contribute toward student scholarships while potentially receiving a dollar-for-dollar Ohio income tax credit.

SGO contributions are made through qualified scholarship organizations rather than directly to WC. Learn how Ohio’s program works and about the new federal opportunity beginning in 2027.
