Experienced educator brings leadership and a student-centered focus to WC’s intervention services.
We are pleased to announce that Becky Schulz has been appointed Director of Intervention Services at Worthington Christian School, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for supporting students and teachers alike. Mrs. Schulz succeeds Jennifer Denorme, who built and championed the program. Mrs. Denorme announced she was stepping down at the end of the school year.
Mrs. Schulz grew up as a missionary kid in Guatemala and graduated from the Christian Academy of Guatemala. She earned her Associate of Arts Degree from Bethany Lutheran College and her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Spanish from Minnesota State University. In 2017, completed her Master’s Degree in Special Education at Miami University.
Mrs. Schulz comes to WC from Fairfield Christian Academy in Lancaster, Ohio, where she served in several leadership roles, including Director of Student Services, Elementary Principal, and Curriculum Director. In these roles, Mrs. Schulz directed comprehensive support services for preschool through grade 12 students, led a team of 20 educators in fostering student academic achievement and wellbeing, and oversaw the development and implementation of curriculum initiatives aligned with state standards. Mrs. Schulz also has extensive experience as an Intervention Specialist and strong administrative leadership, professional development, and academic program support background.

Christina Hoverman, Director of Teaching and Learning, shared, “Becky’s commitment to student-centered learning, her deep understanding of curriculum and instruction, and her collaborative leadership style make her an outstanding addition to our team. We are excited to see how her experience and passion will enrich our school community.”
Mrs. Schulz is married to Anthony, and they have four sons. They are active members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lancaster.
