As we begin a new school year, we want to take a moment to highlight a few new faces at WC, as well as some familiar faces stepping into new roles.

Worthington Christian is excited to welcome Jeremy Hartman as an Upper School Health/PE Teacher. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies from Ohio Northern University. Jeremy comes to us having previously served as the Director of Athletics and Physical Education at Grace Christian School. Jeremy and his wife have four children and are also WC parents, with students in 4th, 6th, 7th, and 10th.

We asked staff members several “getting to know you” questions; we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about Jeremy!

I was a summer camp counselor at a camp for campers with special needs.

Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?
Mr. Mason, because he always pushed me to do more than I thought I could. He believed in me, and he loved sports as much as I do.

What is something people might be surprised to find out about you?
I always eat my leftovers cold—pizza, pasta, soup, anything.

What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
Grilled blackened chicken with a baked potato and roasted green beans.

If you could quickly and easily learn one skill, what would it be?
Car mechanic … who likes going to the shop?

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
“A desire for a good thing becomes a bad thing when that desire becomes a ruling thing.” – Paul Tripp

What is a passage of Scripture you turn to for encouragement?
James 1:6
