Yesterday was another wonderful day! An unexpected bike race sent us on a long detour into the city, but we made it to Iglesia Bautista Internacional, where the church welcomed us so warmly. The students listened to the message through translation and loved connecting with the congregation afterward—especially practicing their Spanish.
After lunch, the teams jumped into a fun challenge (belly flops, chalk art, telephone, frisbee, and pool time), with Yellow taking the win! The afternoon brought some much-needed choice time at the beach, pool, coffee shop, or simply resting.
Our Upper Room time last night was especially sweet—filled with worship, honest reflection, prayer, confession, and reconciliation. Students and teachers prayed with and for one another, and the room was full of heartfelt singing. It truly felt like a small glimpse of heaven.
Please pray for a few who aren’t feeling well, and that the transformation God is doing in these students’ lives will continue long after this week ends. We feel your prayers and we are grateful for your support from afar. GOD IS GOOD!
