Our teams headed back out for outreach today, with buses pulling out around 8:30 am.
Red & Green Teams spent the day in Ensanche, splitting time between a school and a nearby daycare. The excitement was contagious as children waited eagerly at the gates! They shared Bible skits, songs, and crafts—then were showered with hugs, piggyback rides, nail painting, chalk art, and face coloring.
Yellow Team served at Escuela Don Juan, playing games with kids of all ages and stepping into new leadership roles while some teammates served on the medical team. They enjoyed a scenic lunch by the tide pools (and even caught sea urchins!) before heading into the villages to pray with local families.
Blue Team visited a school, ran their program, and loved how curious the children were—so many questions! After a quick swim break, they went door to door in a village inviting kids to hear Bible stories and songs. A large, grateful group gathered to join them.
Medical Team set up in a village pavilion and cared for over 100 patients, both children and adults. Students helped take vitals, gather information, and run a makeshift pharmacy before each person saw the doctor.
Tonight in Upper Room, Mrs. Decker encouraged students to resist the pull toward tired complacency and to keep choosing intentional, Christ-centered responses—because life with Jesus truly is better.
