Find your niche at the Grades 7-12 Campus.

Volunteers are a vital part of community life at Worthington Christian School, and opportunities abound for parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, and friends to get involved. Let us know if you don’t find an opportunity that fits your skillset or schedule. We welcome your ideas.

Volunteers must complete a background check before serving.

Building Coordinator | Grades 9-12

Each building designates a lead volunteer or coordinator as follows: Grades K-2, Grades 3-6, Grades 7-8, and Grades 9-12. Volunteers serving as Building Coordinators work to strengthen parent-to-parent or parent-to-teacher relationships and represent their building on the PTF Executive Team. As “boots on the ground” volunteers, Building Coordinators bring valuable insights to the Executive and Leadership teams.

Contact Christina Yeary or submit the Volunteer Interest Form to get involved.

Cafeteria Help

Do you have time to spare during the day and love interacting with the students and staff?  The cafeteria may be your spot!  Lower School volunteers help the younger students with opening packages, getting condiments for the students, and helping clean the tables between lunch lines.  The Upper School volunteers work beside the food service staff to help serve our students and staff as they come through the lunch line. Volunteers will need to be in place and trained before school starts.

Contact Kathy Kramer or submit the Volunteer Interest Form to get involved.

Moms In Prayer

Moms in Prayer encourages moms to pray God’s Word over their children and the school. Join us for prayer every Friday at 8:20 a.m. (during the school year) outside the Upper School, near the main entrance.

Contact Coordinator Justine Styer or submit the Volunteer Interest Form to get involved.

Veteran’s Day | November 11, 2024

Do you feel passionate about showing our veterans appreciation for their sacrifice while teaching our children the importance of these sacrifices, understanding the history, and the love for our country?  Then we would love your help in making this day memorable. Tasks will include finding Veterans to include in the day, helping with activities, managing the day’s events, decorating, and working with staff on activities specific to Veterans Day.

Contact Coordinator Christy Hoyt or submit the Volunteer Interest Form to get involved.
