YEAR-LONG CELEBRATION COMES TO A CLOSE ON APRIL 29 AND 30

Founders Weekend is set to bring together the WC community.

Fifty years ago, Worthington Christian School opened its doors to students for the first time. That historic moment resulted from families dreaming, praying, planning, volunteering, and donating toward a school in Central Ohio rooted in God’s Word that would equip students and graduates to carry the light of Christ into the world.

Throughout this school year, we have spotlighted God’s undeniable faithfulness through stories of servant leadership, godly and caring faculty, expanded enrollment and facilities, relational and rigorous instruction, sacrificial giving, and more. The culmination of this year-long remembrance takes place next weekend—April 29 and 30.

An Evening of Celebration and Thanksgiving

On Saturday, April 29, the entire WC community is invited to gather for a memorable evening. The night begins with light refreshments and a K-12 Fine Arts Show starting at 6 p.m. in The Hogue Commons and Gymnasium on the Tom Anglea Upper School Campus (1485 Lazelle Road). At 6:45 p.m., we’ll begin making our way to the adjacent Grace Polaris Church Worship Center for the 7 p.m. start of a worship celebration featuring students and alumni, special music, video, recognition of WC’s founders, and more.

50th Anniversary Reunion Luncheon

A picnic-style lunch for school founders and past and present board members, administrators, teachers, and staff will round out the weekend and mark the end of this chapter of WC’s history.

We hope you will join us as we honor our past, celebrate our present, and Shine Ever Brighter into our future.
