Take the First Step Toward an Affordable WC Education
At Worthington Christian School, we are committed to making a Christ-centered education accessible to as many families as possible. While various forms of financial assistance are available, all families should begin the process by applying for the Ohio EdChoice Expansion Scholarship.
What Is the EdChoice Scholarship?
Every Ohio student is eligible to apply for an Ohio EdChoice Expansion Scholarship, which offers substantial financial assistance for tuition.
Scholarship Amounts
- Kindergarten–8th Grade:
Minimum award: $616.60
Maximum award: $6,166 - Grades 9–12:
Minimum award: $840.80
Maximum award: $8,408
Families with a household income at or below 450% of the federal poverty level (FPL) are eligible to receive the full scholarship amount. Families above this income level will qualify for a pro-rated scholarship.
The EdChoice Expansion Scholarship applies only to tuition. All other school-related fees remain the responsibility of the family.
How to Apply for the 2025–26 Academic Year
The application window is now open. Because the State of Ohio requires private schools to submit EdChoice applications on behalf of families, please follow these steps:
Step 1
Apply for admission to Worthington Christian School.
- Your student must first be accepted for enrollment before we can submit the EdChoice Scholarship request.
step 2
Submit the EdChoice Scholarship Request Form after acceptance to Worthington Christian.
- Complete the EdChoice Scholarship Request Form
- Provide a current utility bill (dated within the past 90 days) showing matching mailing and service addresses
- Submit documents to any Worthington Christian School office or email PDFs to the admissions team
Step 3
Verify your household income with the State of Ohio.
- To determine your scholarship amount, upload income documentation through your OH|ID account.
